Team For The Nations Africa (TFN Africa) is a non-profit faith based organization serving the body of Christ throughout Kenya and beyond. Our goal is to take God’s word out to God’s people beyond the forbidden boarders of language, location, culture and literacy levels. As we preach and teach the Word, we feel obliged to pass on to others the methods and tools that we find to be useful and effective and in so doing, empower others for effective ministry.
Working with a large network of rural pastors and church workers, we continue to work towards empowering these leaders through the provision of tools and training for the advancement of the gospel “in the farthest ends of the earth.”
Our team travels within and without the boarders of Kenya preaching and teaching the Word while encouraging Christians to hold on strong to the word of life. We have found open doors for ministry in schools, churches and villages and the response has been one of great encouragement. We’re greatly encouraged to see more and more people coming to the Lord and many more having a desire to learn His word. As a team and in partnership with others, we can respond in the most effective ways possible.
We operate The God’s Story Project in East Africa translating and distributing the video/audio tool “God’s Story: from creation to eternity,” in local languages and training leaders on oral bible teaching methods through Bible Storytelling. Contact us for venues and dates for the next “Simply The Story (STS)” and “Timothy Church Planters Training (TCPT) in East Africa.
TFN Africa runs a Christian Media Library in Nairobi from Firefighters For Christ carrying CD/VCD/DVD/MP3 teachings on scripture and other topics by over 500 respected pastors and teachers from around the world. This library will keep you glued to the word of life and you’ll be transformed daily in your walk of faith.
Our discipleship material for new believers developed by Word Outreach International® are available for you in English and Swahili. These series will lay the foundation of God’s word on new believers and leave them with a desire for more.
TFN Africa comprises of friends brought together by a love for the lost world. We have worshipers, teachers of the word, actors and other servants in our team. If you would like to host our team, please contact us>>> and we will be delighted to serve you or with you!
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
-
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
-
We believe that salvation is attained only by Grace through Jesus’ finished work on the Cross and that any works in pursuit of salvation are in vain.
-
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
-
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
-
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Taking The Gospel To Schools
Weekend Challenges are times when we take time to spend a weekend with students in a boarding high school or college challenging them with God’s word. Proverbs 22:6 says to “train up a child in the way they should go and when they’re old, they will not depart from it.” As we feed the young people with God’s word, we trust they will come out to society as better people ready to make a difference in community. The first night (Friday) is spent in praise, worship, prayer and the word. The next day (Saturday) is packed with teaching of the word and a little bit of outdoor games. The evening is a movie night as we lead many to the Lord through media tools. On Sunday we close our mission by running a full Sunday service for the entire school and an afternoon “gospel rally” where students from neighboring schools are invited to attend. Every such mission needs more workers. Contact us>>> for dates and details and plan to join us next time.

Taking the gospel to schools |
Rural Outreach Missions are moments when our team joins hands with rural pastors, evangelists or church planters in going to serve their respective villages or communities. We serve the community through community clean-ups, home visitation ministry, open-air outreaches, drama, song, film etc… Our goal is to lead people to the Lord and to encourage the servants of God in these isolated mission fields.

India Mission:
A second congregation in place…
God spoke to our director regarding India when he was only 14 years old. As the crew of Operation Mobilization’s ship MV Doulos was winding up their mission in Mombasa Kenya; Bramuel was probably the only high school student attending the late night missions’ conference that day. The stories and pictures from the missionaries regarding India never left his mind. He prayed and longed for the day God would send him to India. In 2005, he made contact with a dear brother in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India from which a solo mission trip to India was developed. He helped lead 60 people to the Lord during that first mission and together with his local hosts worked towards a church-planting venture. Today, there are two congregations in Guntur District as a result of that mission. Our desire is to do more in India and you can be a part of this project through your prayers and contributions. Or if the Lord leads, you may come to India with us on our next visit and we’ll put you to work! Kindly Contact us>>> for details of the next mission.
Translation And Production of Audio & Video Production
The TFN Africa media department undertakes translation of selected written material into other languages if they’re of benefit to the work of ministry and the body of Christ in our region. We also produce and duplicate selected audio and video material on behalf of other ministries and churches. Proceeds from our media work are sowed 100% into our gospel outreach programs. For samples of our work and for a quotation proposal, do not hesitate to contact us>>>

Livingstone Foundation |
“I was driving my air-conditioned car into the United Nations camp in Lokichokkio (northern Kenya) where I worked when I noticed a small boy begging at the gate. I stopped to talk with him. Livingstone Emase was his name and he was looking for a well-wisher to buy him pencils that he may write his exams the following day. I knew this was a different kind of beggar. I embraced him and for close to 10 years, he was like a son to me…. Through the support of other well wishers, the young man made it to high school and even got started with university…. One phone call on a Saturday evening changed everything. He was knocked down by a hit and run motorist while on his way to my house. He died immediately. That was mid-2007” Bramuel Musya, Director, TFN Africa.
Livingstone left behind younger sisters in high school with serious needs of financial assistance in payment of school fees. We at TFN Africa continue to meet with such needs throughout Africa in our scope of work. In the name of our dear friend, we have established the Livingstone Foundation in our ministry to assist young boys and girls with a determination to succeed in education yet lacking the means. If you would like to contribute towards this, kindly contact us>>>

NASOM aims to bring biblical training to rural leaders in their villages |
This is a project designed to bring Biblical training to rural pastors and leaders right into their churches and villages in a rotating system. Whilst developing the curriculum, we’re now receiving tools and resources for this worthwhile venture. If you have any material that you consider to be of value to such a project, kindly contact us for shipping details.
This is what most of our team members are calling “the mobile school of ministry.” The program will run in one village and upon graduation, the whole program will be relocated to new location distances apart.
